Seek For Sugar – Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These terms apply to any use of seekforsugar.com, whether or not you register. The privacy policy forms part of these terms.
2. Who we are and what we offer
Seek For Sugar is an online platform operated by MH Media Online. It lets members communicate with each other. We are not a marriage broker, relationship broker or matchmaking agency. Contact: info@seekforsugar.com.
3. Age and admission
You must be 18 or older. You confirm that you have not been convicted of violence, sexual abuse or harassment. We verify sign-ups manually and may refuse admission.
4. Account
Your account is personal and may not be transferred or resold. You keep your login details secret and are responsible for everything that happens through your account.
5. Free and paid membership
A free membership has limited features. A paid membership gives extra features. You can see the current prices after you log in, and always before you pay.
6. Payment, term and renewal
A paid membership runs for the period you choose and ends when that period ends. We never renew a membership automatically. If you want to continue, you choose a new period yourself and pay again. You therefore do not need to cancel: the membership simply stops. If we change our rates, the new rates apply only to a new period that you choose yourself.
When you sign up, you can ask us to start immediately. By doing so, you acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once we have fully provided the service. If you cancel within 14 days, you pay only for what you have used up to that point.
7. Members' responsibility
You are solely responsible for your contact with other members. We do not currently run criminal background checks, but we reserve the right to do so. Be careful when you meet someone for the first time, meet in a public place, and never send money or financial details to other members.
8. Accurate information
Your details and photos must be accurate. Photos of anyone under 18 are prohibited.
9. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited: unlawful activity, harassment, impersonating someone else, spam, unsolicited commercial offers, asking for money, and automated collection of data (scraping).
10. No escort, prostitution or exploitation
You may not use the platform to offer or request sexual services in exchange for payment, for escort or prostitution, or for human trafficking, coercion or exploitation. Asking about hourly rates or prices for contact is also a violation. We remove such profiles without prior warning and may report them to the authorities.
11. Privacy and confidentiality
We process your data in accordance with the privacy policy. Photos and messages of other members are confidential: you may not save, copy or share them, including by screenshot.
12. Your content
Photos and texts you post remain yours. You give us permission to display and store them, solely so that the service can work.
13. Monitoring, reporting and measures
We may review profiles and messages, edit or remove content, block accounts and cooperate with the authorities. You can report abuse at info@seekforsugar.com. We review every report and may take action.
14. Licence and ownership
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the site. Copying, modifying or commercially distributing the content of the site is not allowed. All content and intellectual property of the site remains ours. We do not endorse advertisements or external links; you use them at your own risk.
15. Liability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or accuracy. Indirect and consequential damage is excluded. This does not apply in cases of intent, fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by us. We are not liable for the conduct of members or for viruses or malware. You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use.
16. Termination
You can end a free membership at any time. We may block or terminate an account in the case of serious breach, and may deactivate an account after six months of inactivity without a paid membership (logging in reactivates it). To have your account deleted, contact info@seekforsugar.com. If we discontinue the service, we will give at least 14 days' notice.
17. Complaints
If you have a complaint, email info@seekforsugar.com. We generally reply within 24 hours and answer complaints in writing within 3 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can take the matter to the competent court.
18. Final provisions
We may amend these terms; we will notify you by email and on the website, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Dutch law applies. Consumers in the EU may rely on the jurisdiction rules of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012; for others, the Dutch courts decide.
